With Tenacious D back in the public eye supporting new album Post-Apocalypto, Jack Black and Kyle Gass have been sharing their signature absurdist sense of humor in all sorts of venues. The rock duo was recently asked by Pitchfork to take part in their Over/Under series, and give their opinions on a wide range of topics, from famous folks to types of food. Black is thoroughly weirded out by the idea of a "cuddle party," and later goes in about not having any tattoos. When asked how they feel about "Tenacious DJ," Black says, "it is the greatest gig of all time. If you're a good DJ? You just show up with a briefcase, get on a first class plane ... pretend to do stuff?" They get asked about Danzig, which inspires Black to recall a mashup of Danzig and Shakira he once heard, and how he'd rather that collaboration happen in real life than a Tenacious D/Danzig crossover because it would be a lot more interesting. "It's true," Gass says. "Her hips don't lie."
