Slipknot hyped up today's date — 0516 — and they delivered. A new song. A new music video. Their new album's title, cover and track list. But perhaps what Maggots were most stoked to see are the group's new masks and attire. Here, the 'Knot did not disappoint, as well. The "Unsainted" video showcases the band's latest makeover throughout its nearly five-minute run time. Corey Taylor's Tom Savini–designed visage, which recalls that of the antihero of Brian De Palma's 1974 rock opera Phantom of the Paradise, is revealed. As is bassist V-Man's biomechanical Thanos, drummer Jay Weinberg's occult scarecrow, Sid Wilson's hooded troll, Shawn Crahan's metalized Clown, Jim Root's snarling jester. Craig Jones and Mick Thomson, as is their wont, haven't changed much. Then there's the Nine's mystery second percussionist, whose Cenobite-ian appearance may steal the show. Take a closer look below at the new 'Knot, as captured in striking portraits shared by the band via Instagram story.
