Chuck Billy is best known as the vocalist for the legendary thrash band Testament — but did you know he's ALSO a vape entrepreneur? In early 2015, the frontman teamed up with Lord Vaper Pens to create "The Chief," his own signature vape pen. Now, he and the company are expanding that empire further with two new collections of products — you know, for "aromatherapy."
(Lest you decry the products' Native American–inspired imagery as cultural appropriation, it's worth noting that Billy is related to the Pomo Native Americans, an indigenous people of Northern California, through his father's side of the family.)
First up is the "The Chief" Signature Series, which comprises the "Tomahawk" (a standard vape pen), the "War Drum" (a two-in-one vape, suitable for flowers or concentrates), and — for all the dabbers out there — the "Dream Catcher" oil cartridge battery; custom-branded containers, filters and stash tubes are also up for purchase. For those fans who want to get their "Chief" on without the devil's lettuce, there's also a new merchandise line, appropriately dubbed "The Chief of Thrash." The collection currently consists of various items emblazoned with the band's logo, such as t-shirts, guitar pick-shaped mousepads, and dog tags; Billy and Lord Vaper plan to broaden its inventory in the months ahead.
Peruse Billy's latest drop below, and snag the new items here. Beginning today (July 26th), fans who stop by Testament's merch table during their upcoming stint on Slayer's farewell tour can score a 10% discount code. Just remember, kids, these products are for AROMATHERAPY. USE. ONLY.
