Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan is gearing up for the latest livestream event from the last of those bands, "Billy D and the Hall of Feathered Serpents," which will feature a performance of the 2016 album Money $hot in its entirety. The event is set to premiere on Keenan's birthday, April 17th. Ahead of that big date, the musician, winemaker, farmer, author, martial arts practitioner and all-around renaissance man has offered up a short film titled An Easter Story. Narrated by Keenan, the short features a "Nagual del Judith Mix" of the 2009 Puscifer song "A Humbling River" and tells the story of a missing duck named Larry. Really, though, the film is a philosophical meditation on Easter and spring, the latter of which Keenan describes as "the bringer of life, rebirth, reproduction, resurrection, reconnection, of salvation, of infinity and of hope." Watch above. Tickets for "Billy D and the Hall of Feathered Serpents" are available now.
