Coheed and Cambria Share Catchy New Song "The Liars Club," Announce Summer 2022 Tour

Headlining arenas this summer with support from Dance Gavin Dance

Last month, Coheed and Cambria announced their long-awaited new album, Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind (due out May 27th), and last week they kicked off their first tour of 2022 — but Coheed season doesn't let up. Today (February 22nd), Claudio Sanchez and Co. have shared the record's third single, "The Liars Club," and announced a slew of summer arena tour dates that they're set to embark on later this year with support from Dance Gavin Dance and Mothica.

Like their previous singles, "Shoulders" and "Rise Naianasha (Cut the Cord)", this new one is an upbeat banger with an explosive, pop-punky chorus — perhaps the catchiest and most ebullient of all three. "When the truth is such a mess, who doesn't want to live out a different reality? Who doesn't want to embrace a lie?," Sanchez said of its subject matter. Give "The Liars Club" a listen above and watch its animated video.

Coheed's North American summer tour is slated to kick off July 12th in Miami and then snake throughout the south, east coast, up into Toronto, and then through the midwest before concluding in Troutdale, Orgeon, on August 17th. Fellow prog-rockers Dance Gavin Dance will serve as direct support and pop-punk newcomer Mothica will round out the bill.

Pre-sale tickets go live Feburary 23rd at 9 a.m. local time and general tickets will be available Friday February 25th at 10 a.m. local time. Head over to the band's official website for more info and check out the full tour itinerary below.
