UPDATE, 2/1: Converge Bloodmoon have announced their first-ever shows in the United States. The all-star avant-metal group are set to play April 9th at Roadrunner in Boston and April 10th at Brooklyn Steel. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 4th at noon at convergecult.com. In addition, the band has offered up a second vinyl pressing of their acclaimed debut album, Bloodmoon: I, including a "clear neon violet cloudy" colorway available now at Revolver's shop.

ORIGINAL STORY, 12/23: To date, Converge's expanded "Bloodmoon" lineup — featuring goth-rock chanteuse Chelsea Wolfe, multi-instrumentalist Ben Chisholm and Cave In frontman Stephen Brodsky — has only played a handful of live shows, all in 2016. That year, the New England hardcore trailblazers reached out to the aforementioned trio to flesh out some of the moodier, lesser known pieces of their catalog for a short European tour, which culminated in a now-legendary set at the Netherlands' Roadburn Festival that also included Neurosis' Steve Von Till.

Inspired by the live collaboration, the ensemble regrouped in 2021 (minus Von Till) and recorded an album of original material, November's excellent Bloodmoon: I, and now they're set to play onstage together again. Today (December 23rd), Converge announced the expanded lineup's first show in six years, at the 2022 edition of Denmark's Roskilde Festival. The event is scheduled to go down from June 25th to July 2nd. Visit the festival's site for more info, and look out for more Converge Bloodmoon dates.
