At the Gates' Slaughter of the Soul is a goddamn classic, having had a massive influence on both modern metalcore and melodic death metal. The album turned 25 in 2020, and the Swedish heavyweights were supposed to play the LP in full on a special anniversary tour, but a little thing called COVID-19 had other ideas. Two long years later, ATG are finally set to celebrate Slaughter of the Soul as they intended, and they'll be doing so with Municipal Waste (opening all dates), Enforced and Thrown Into Exile (on select dates) along for the ride.
"Finally, we can present these new dates set for august 2022," the band enthused in a joint statement. "...See you in the pit!"
