GWAR Announce 'Scumdogs' 30th Anniversary Tour With Napalm Death, Eyehategod

Month-and-a-half-long trek hits North America this fall and winter

The halt of touring throughout the last year-and-a-half was obviously detrimental to so many bands, but it must have been particularly devastating for GWAR, whose spew-filled live shows are absolutely integral to the identity of the band. Thankfully, everyone's favorite alien metal act can safely return to earth later this year, and they'll be celebrating with a massive month-and-a-half-long North American tour with Napalm Death and Eyehategod

This particular run of dates is in honor of the 30th anniversary of GWAR's 1990 album, Scumdogs of the Universe, so fans should expect songs from that beloved release to be littered throughout their setlist. After a few one-off dates with Madball and Eyehategod in September, as well as an appearance at Riot Fest, the journey kicks off October 28th in Norfolk, Virginia, and snakes throughout the entire continent — including a handful of Canadian shows — before concluding in D.C. on December 13th.

"We've been saving it up, and we are ready to explode all over the face of this nation with a dazzling flood of chaotic shock-rock load," taunts vocalist Blothar the Berserker. "But don't even try to come to a show on this tour unless you are unvaccinated, COVID positive and willing to submit to an enthusiastic rectal temperature check at the hands of our degenerate road crew."

Pre-sale tickets go on-sale today (June 16th) and general on-sale tickets will go live this Friday June 18th. Check out all the dates below.
