The lineup for this year's Furnace Fest just got a whole lot cooler. Earlier this year, the Birmingham, Alabama, retreat for metalcore, hardcore and pop-punk fans of all ages announced that Thrice, Alexisonfire, the Ghost Inside, the Acacia Strain, Quicksand, Shadows Fall and dozens more bands were playing the fall 2022 edition of the fest. Now, they've unveiled the next wave of the lineup, which includes Mastodon, In Flames, Poison the Well, the Descendents, Dying Wish and tons more awesome bands.
Manchcester Orchestra, the Story So Far, Drug Church, Midtown and Movements are among the aforementioned new additions, as well as Four Year Strong, who'll be playing their beloved 2010 album, Enemy of the World, in full. Notably, Thrice will be celebrating 20 years of their 2002 landmark, The Illusion of Safety, with a full play-through.
The whole 90-band affair goes down the weekend of September 23rd through the 25th at Sloss Furnaces, and tickets are on-sale here. See the full lineup as it currently stands below.
