UPDATE, 9/19/22: The details of Metallica's 2022 Helping Hands Concert & Auction have been announced. The event will take place December 16th at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Tickets will go on-sale Friday, September 23rd, at 10 a.m. local time, with pre-sales set for the 21st, via axs.com. One-hundred percent of proceeds will go directly to help those in need.
ORIGINAL STORY, 8/29/22: Metallica have announced their third-ever Helping Hands Concert & Auction benefiting the group's All Within My Hands foundation (AWMH) for December 16th in Los Angeles. Established by the band members and their management in 2017, the non-profit organization is focused on supporting sustainable communities through workforce education, the fight against hunger and other critical local services.
"It has been a few years since we connected in person for this unique event, so we want to get on your calendar now!" Metallica stated in posts across social media. "We're excited to share all the amazing things the Foundation has accomplished and we are inspired to look toward the future. Of course, we'll cap it all off with a full night of live music!
