Obituary are already having a banger 2022. The Florida death-metal OGs are currently out on one of our most anticipated tours of the year, playing with Municipal Waste, Gatecreeper, Enforced and SpiritWorld. That run started last month and wraps up by the end of February, but don't worry if you don't get a chance to catch it. Obituary are heading back out a few weeks later with support from Gruesome — the Death-inspired band fronted by Exhumed vocalist Matt Harvey — and 200 Stab Wounds, who are one of the hottest young death-metal acts in the scene.

Dubbed The East Coast RedNeckRun, the stacked bill will begin playing together in Jacksonville, FL, on March 18th and will travel up the east coast, over to the midwest and then down south before wrapping up in Birmingham, AL, on April 10th.

"It's time to put away the leather jackets and boots, bust out the FlipFlops & TankTops and prepare yourself for an outrageously, awkward yet undeniably amazing evening that could possibly turn into the best night of your life," Obituary enthused.

"The Florida Boys are at it again and are firing up the RV, checking the brake lines and high tailing it out of town and heading your way…so breaking out the SunBlock and prepare to Rock! The EastCoast RedNeckRun III is about to go down and we need to know two things…who's joining us and is the Beer Cold? Contrary to the Apollo-13-Mission, failure is an option and so are shoes…but having a GodDamn GoodTime is a none of your money back guarantee!

"This isn't Rocket Science nor have we ever claimed to be scientists or the smartest band in the world..we're just thirsty, ready to jam and hope you are too. Where will WE see YOU? We're just happier than a puppy with two peters to be headed back out on the road."

Keep an eye on the bands' social media pages for when tickets go live. Peep the full dates below and see why we named Obituary's upcoming album one of our most anticipated releases of 2022
