Revolver threw its annual holiday party this past Monday, December 9th, in Brooklyn at The Palace, a local watering hole that has been a home for headbangers for decades. Actress and lifelong metal fan Jessica Pimentel (known for playing Maria Ruiz on Netflix's hit show, Orange Is the New Black, as well as for fronting NYC death dealers Alekhine's Gun) was in charge of the tunes, which ranged from Cattle Decapitation to Stevie Wonder. Later in the evening, Kings of Karaoke took over and attendees sang their favorite songs until the early morning hours. Even when one guest suffered a minor medical emergency, it couldn't derail the party — especially when he returned for an epic comeback performance of Boston's "More than a Feeling." It was a crazy ending to a fun-filled night.
Partygoers included folks from Backtrack, Ghost Cult Mag, Heavy New York, Killing Time, Kings Destroy, King Woman, Metal Injection, Napalm Records, Next Mosh, The Orchard, Revocation, Roadrunner Records, Saint Vitus Bar, Skateboard Marketing, Spotlights, Strong Management, WWE and more. Photographer Nikki Sneakers was on hand to capture the good times — see some of her standout shots below.
