Seasons After will release their new album, 'Calamity Scars and Memoirs,' today. In celebration, the band has teamed with Revolver to premiere a song off the record, "My Last Words." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments.

Guitarist Chris Dawson comments, "As we were going through all the songs we wrote to select the final tracks, we wanted to put on this new album, 'My Last Words' was always one of the frontrunners. Musically, it captured what we do as a band well! It has a lot of the elements we are known for from the first album and it shows our evolution to where we are now. This track has taken a few different forms over the recording process. The chorus never changed, but it took us a while to dial in everything around the chorus, to really create a vibe for the track as a whole. It was actually on the last day of tracking for this song that a brand new musical and lyrical concept was created. As soon as the scratch tracks were recorded we knew it was the one and 'My Last Words' took its final form. It is one of the heaviest tracks on the record and it's one of my favorite songs to play!"

Frontman Tony Housh adds, "This is the bi-polar moment on the album. It is the last track, and lyrically deals with the confusion of being in a relationship that is ripped between love, life, personal aspirations, and the choice to say goodbye. The verses explain the realization of just how dangerous I had become to the other person's happiness, while the chorus is the bi-polar part of the tune. In reality, all I wanted was for her to know that I cared for her, and that she was all that ever mattered in the end. At that moment, my passion incited a willingness to lose everything to accomplish my goals."
