English doom-metal band Electric Wizard will release their eighth album, 'Time to Die,' September 29 via Spinefarm Records. In anticipation, the band has teamed with Revolver to premiere the creepy, psychedelic music video for the far-beyond-crushing new song, "SadioWitch." Check it out below and let us  know what you think in the comments.

According to Electric Wizard vocalist-guitarist Jus Oborn, the footage—which was captured in various locations, including Iceland—features "Clandestinely filmed scenes of Luciferian depravity" of the kind "long-awaited by the diehard cult of Wizard fans... A visual amalgamation of Kenneth Anger's psychedelic occultism, the monomania of Jess Franco, and the unbridled excess of Robert Hartford Davies, documenting fully the pleasures of the flesh, drugs and sadism... as they really happen today..."

Earlier this week, SoCal metalcore stalwarts Atreyu, who recently became active again after a three-year hiatus, announced that they had a big surprise in store for fans on Friday, September 5. Well, the moment has arrived. The band has released the brand new song, "So Others May Live," as a free download for fans and supporters. You can stream it below and download it right here.

Vocalist Alex Varkatzas comments: "'So Others May Live' is inspired by one of my best friends, who is ex-military. The things our troops go through to protect us are pretty unreal. Their treatment after leaves a lot to be desired, as well.

"The song honors them and condemns our government's constant deployment of these brave souls. The people who fight and die for us often come from a certain socio-economic background - the working class. The people making these decisions to send our nation's children to war come from positions of privilege and wealth; their kids aren't the ones getting deployed and they aren't risking their lives every day at work. Yet they order the working class to go 'keep us safe' at the drop of a hat, it feels like. It's bullshit. It's the politicians and the rich of this country waging war to keep the majority pre-occupied, so they can make money and advance their bullshit political agendas. The expense is 'expendable' working class/poor Americans' lives, never the rich."

Sixx:A.M., the supergroup featuring singer James Michael, guitarist DJ Ashba (Guns N' Roses), and bassist Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue), have premiered a new song, "Let's Go." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

"That's a great, heavy song," Ashba recently told Revolver. "It's just balls-out. It's got this cool riff where I play this harmonic part and it comes in with the vibe of a song like Marilyn Manson's 'The Beautiful People.' The guitars sound like an army. It's super high-energy and the solo is really neat. And right when the solo kicks in, the whole entire band breaks down and does this classical-influenced part."

The band's third album, 'Modern Vintage,' will be released on October 7.

Evanescence's Amy Lee has premiered her first original solo song, the electronica-inflected "Push the Button." The track will appear on 'Aftermath,' the soundtrack to the movie 'War Story,' which Lee scored with cellist and composer Dave Eggar. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Lee revealed that, for now and the immediate future, Evanescence are inactive:

The situation is we're not doing it now. I don't like to make predictions about the future, because I'm honestly open-minded, and I would never want to say I'm done with any of it, because it's a huge part of me. I've loved my time with Evanescence, I wouldn't want to just throw it away, but, for the foreseeable future, I don't have any plans to do anything with the band. It's really important to me to take some time to show some different sides of myself. I've said this all the way through Evanescence, especially on the second and third record: "I have the freedom to express myself completely within the band, so why would I want to do anything else?" And that's true only to an extent, because as much as I could go through a range of emotions, there's a certain expectation there. With the fans, with myself, I know what Evanescence is; it's an entity, it's bigger than just myself, which is awesome, but I can write a song and go "That is or isn't an Evanescence song," and they both happen. So there does need to be other outlets for me to make music.
