Washington-based rockers Mos Generator will release its new album, 'Abyssinia,' on August 5 via Listenable Records. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song, "Strangest Times." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist/guitarist Tony Reed said, "I like getting directly to the guts of things at the beginning of a record. Within two seconds after it starts, 'Strangest Times' is in full flight and all instruments and vocals are in play. It's a pusher about the weight of guilt and the sacrifices people make to move through this life with one another. Unlike some of the other material on 'Abyssinia,' it's a very typical Mos Generator song. Quick and to the point and very fun to play live."

StitchedUpHeartArticle.jpg

Hollywood-based rock act Stitched Up Heart will release its new album, 'Never Alone,' on June 17 via Another Century. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere the entire album stream right here, right now. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist Mixi said, "When I formed this band I was depressed and going through heartbreak. The name is supposed to give people strength and courage. We all go through things that make us think we can't go further but, especially when times are bad, I want people to see that time will pass and it will get better. The hopeful lyrics on this record are on purpose. I've been living in the dark for too long, it's time to come into the light. You need to pick yourself up because nobody is going to do that for you. There are some sick people out there, but there is beauty in everyone and you need to love yourself before you can stitch that heart back up."

Extreme metal supergroup Scour featuringPantera/Down's Philip H. Anselmo, Pig Destroyer's John Jarvis, Cattle Decapitation's Derek Engemann, Continuum's Chase Fraser, and Strong Intention's Jesse Schobelwill release its new self-titled debut on July 15 via Housecore Records. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song, "Tear Gas." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Derek Engemann said, "'Tear Gas' was the final song written for the debut EP. It was completed backstage on the Cannibal Corpse/Cattle Decapitation tour last year. Every day Jarvis and myself would 'SCOUR' for an isolated, quiet spot to set up my portable recording studio. I remember specifically Rob Barrett walking in during the tracking of this song, and gave his nod of approval. This song has a chorus section at the end that is unique to this album. Once it was finished, I sent it to Philip to write the lyrics. Of course, The Kid completely just nailed the chorus. 'Let the War Be Waged'..."

The band will release its new album 'Magma'—which was recorded at the band's own Silver Cord Studio in Queens, New York—on June 17 via Roadrunner Records.

Massachusetts-based doom group Conclave—which features members of Warhorse, Grief, Disrupt, Desolate, and Martyrvor—will release its new album, 'Sins of the Elders,' on June 10. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere the entire albums tream right here, right now! Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Drummer Dan Blomquist said, "We're extremely excited about 'Sins of ohe Elders' as this album represents Conclave's writing style and direction for the future more so than our previous EP, 'Breaking Ground.' The only remaining semblance to the days of Warhorse on this album is the track 'Cold Comfort,' which was loosely outlined by Jerry and Terry before Warhorse disbanded. The material on this album has contributions from all of us and is just a glimpse of things to come as we continue to grow and foster new songs together. We never dismiss anyone's ideas and don't cater to any one style or genre of metal which I think is evident on this album. Our writing tends to be deeper than it may appear on the surface as people will find when they listen to the album in it's entirety and take time to digest the lyrical content."

California-based post-hardcore act Hail the Sun will release its new album, 'Culture Scars,' on June 17 via Equal Vision Records. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song, "Entertainment Lies." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist/drummer Donovan Melero said, "Our generation is pretty desensitized by sex, with it so readily available at our fingertips. And while we believe it's important to express ourselves sexually, there are many of us who do not know the dark treatment and situations girls endure when entering and leaving the adult entertainment industry. I hope that this song helps to provoke thought on how x-rated films portray women, and how it affects their lives on and off screen, as well as how we, the general population, perceive women because of these videos. I would venture to say it truly isn't as it seems on camera."

Salt Lake City-based rock act The New Low ( formerly Hearts & Hands) will release its debut album, 'Continuance,' on July 22 via Razor & Tie. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere the title track. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Bassist Fletcher Howell said, "When we started writing this record we knew it had to be about the things that made us almost give up. We knew we had to share that before anything else. We've always been a band that's written a lot about our shortcomings in an effort to become better, stronger people. At the end of the day, I think most people can relate to that. Everyone has low points where they need to be reminded that, sometimes, the only way to improve your circumstances is to start by improving yourself. You have to look in the mirror and understand that you are the problem and you are the solution."

Cleveland post-hardcore act Along Came a Spider have teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song and video, "Dreamers." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

The video was directed by Brian Overholt of Captial Productions and conceptualized by Overholt and bassist John Calo. "This song meant to be a bridge between the sound ACAS is known for, and where we're going on the next album," explains Calo.

Vocalist Jamie Miller added, "['Dreamers' is] about following your dreams and fighting to make them a reality. We've had some hardships, as all bands face, and it could have been easy to doubt ourselves. But this is a reminder to keep doing what we love."

The band is currently in the studio recording its third full-length album with Evan McKeever (Nine Shrines, Before Their Eyes, Downplay) which is expected before the end of the year.
