Finnish hard rock act Santa Cruz is opening for Sebastian Bach this spring. Today, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song, "Skydiving Without a Parachute." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments! The band said of the song, "We wanted to release a little bit different new single than a kick-ass super fast rock song with sh*tloads of shredding. Even thou we got the screaming guitar leads and bigger than life chorus on the new single, 'Skydiving Without a Parachute,' we slowed the tempo down a bit and played some beautiful chords and lovely notes for you with acoustic guitar and piano. Lyrics are about how life feels when you don't know where you're going, what's gonna happen next, or what you're supposed to feel when you're livin' on the edge all the time. In that moment it feels like you're skydiving without a parachute." Whitechapel have premiered a new song, "The Void,." The track comes off their upcoming sixth full-length album, 'Mark of the Blade.'

Guitarist Alex Wade comments: "This track is the opener for the record and it sets the pace nicely for the rest of the CD. It's a different sound for us but still heavy and aggressive. As you can see from the title track to this, the dynamic between songs on the album is quite different so we hope the fans enjoy all the new sounds we brought to the table on this record."

Produced by Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse), 'Mark of the Blade' will be released June 24 via Metal Blade Records.

White Plains, New York-based metalcore act Hollow Bones will release its new album, 'Lionheart,' on May 27. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new track, "Altruistic Lung." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist Patrick Anthony said, "'Altruistic Lung' is one of the more raw songs on the album thematically and musically the most ambient. It deals with self-hatred, and the anxieties that those feelings can create when falling in love. We hope that the emotions we meant to convey come across adequately, and we hope that people are able to connect with the song. Fight for the people you love, and hold onto them the best that you can."

Texas hard rockers Scorpion Child have premiered a new track, "Moon Tension." The song comes off their upcoming second album, 'Acid Roulette,' due June 10 via Nuclear Blast.

Scorpion Child singer Aryn Jonathan Black commented on the new album's concept, "The protagonist character portrayed in 'Acid Roulette' was forced into confessing to a murder that he did not commit by his wife and her wealthy lover, so that they could live out their romance without him in the picture. Once sentenced to a life's term, he goes through extreme emotions, dealing with fact that the only woman he'd ever loved has taken everything he'd known as "real" away from him. He has to create and redefine his own reality and experiences many different psychological changes throughout the years, but is able to 'escape' via the use of hallucinogens and daily songwriting. The focus is mainly on the seasons in a year, for each song represents a month. These songs become his 'diary of a madman.' 'Acid Roulette' wires us into these extremes."

American Bombshell, a pure unadulterated hard rock act from Indiana and winners of the 2016 Grammy Amplifier program, were given the opportunity to record its single "My Drug" with iconic producer Mike Clink (Guns N' Roses, Megadeth) at East West Studios in Los Angeles, California. Today, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere the track. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments! Speaking with writer David E. Gehlke, guitarist Andy Nixon said of working with Clink, "[It was] Intimidating! He's standing two feet from you while you're doing your guitar parts. He's going 'No, do it this way.' Your hands are shaking. He gives you the 'dad' look, and 'Hey, that last pass sounded great, but you're out of tune, you're off time, and your vibrato was off, but other than that, you sounded great!' So we're like, 'Oh shit!' I threw him what I think were my best licks and he's like, 'That's great! You can try to play guitar now?' It was intimidating, but at the same time, he really pushed us and got us up to about three levels." The Grammy Amplifier program, powered by Hyundai, is "an innovative online music initiative providing aspiring artists with the opportunity to realize their passion and further their musical careers through one-of-a-kind experiences that serve to showcase their talent." The 2016 winners were selected by three Amplifier curators: Grammy winner Lzzy Hale, lead singer and guitarist of Halestorm, Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Big Sean, and country star Sam Hunt. "Whether you're a player, singer or songwriter, the Grammy Amplifier program can help you find your voice," said Lzzy Hale. "I've been in Halestorm for 18 years and I know that this is a really tough business that takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice, but it also requires great risk and a lot of determination proving yourself gig after gig. The talented artists that have entered this program in the past have received so much in the way of advice, but most of all they've been given an opportunity, and as musicians that is the one thing we all hunger for—the opportunity."
