'Game of Thrones' has always had a metal connection—in addition to the show's subject matter, the series has also featured the members of Mastodon appearing as Wildings, and the band also contributed a song, "White Walker," to 'Catch The Throne: The Mixtape Volume II.'

Chicago-based guitarist Rob Scallon is, as we've shown in the past, the guy who covers Slayer and Cannibal Corpse songs with banjos and ukuleles. Now, as part of what he's calling "May-tallica," Rob has posted a banjo cover of Metallica's "Master of Puppets," with a keytar solo, to boot!

As he says: "Master of banjos I'm plucking your strings!!!"

Volbeat have premiered the lyric video for a new song, "The Bliss." The track will appear on their upcoming sixth full-length album, 'Seal the Deal & Let's Boogie,' due June 3 via Republic Records.

Produced by longtime collaborator Jacob Hansen and co-produced by frontman Michael Poulsen and lead guitarist Rob Caggiano, 'Seal the Deal & Let's Boogie' includes a total of 13 new tracks.

Poulsen said, "After months writing and recording, we're thrilled to finally be able to unleash 'Seal the Deal & Let's Boogie' into the world. Play it loud!"

Grand Magus have premiered a new song, "Forged in Iron - Crowned in Steel." The track comes off the band's upcoming album, 'Sword Songs,' due May 13 via Nuclear Blast. The new album was produced by Nico Elgstrand at Studio Supa in Stockholm, Sweden, and the cover artwork was created by acclaimed artist Anthony Roberts.

Commented vocalist Janne "J.B." Christofferson, "We put all of our sweat, blood and tears into this new album and I think that you can hear that. For me, 'Sword Songs' is the best Grand Magus album ever! The new songs are faster and more aggressive than on 'Triumph and Power,' and we have also included some more extreme and harder stuff. I'm convinced that there are some future classics on the disc!"
