The last time we caught up with 3TEETH, they were showing off a dystopian video for "American Landfill," in which the L.A. industrialists ran around a neon-lit Blade Runner scrap heap in hazmat jumpers. Today (April 23rd), the band has debuted another new dark visual from their forthcoming album Metawar (due July 5th via Red Music) for new song "EXXXIT." Be warned, this one is gruesome and definitely NSFW.
The premise is some sort of horrible medical operation, where a woman on the operating table is punctured by hooks and hung from the ceiling in what appears to be some dark, digital S&M-esque club. That woman is Jeanelle Mastema, an experienced suspension artist who has performed in a variety of performance art collectives across the world. She does an excellent job of being creepy here, which is perfectly paired with 3TEETH's uber-aggro screed.
"The song hinges on a conceptual ultimatum and the human urge towards self-destruction as a form of liberation," says 3TEETH frontman Alexis Mincolla in a press release. Take that as you will.
