Here at Revolver, we're always on the hunt for new songs to bang our heads to — indeed, it's a big part of our jobs. With that in mind, here are the tracks released this week in metal, hardcore, industrial and more that have been on heavy rotation at Revolver HQ. For your listening pleasure, we've also compiled the songs in an ever-evolving Spotify playlist.

This week, Chevelle offered up the sinuous lead single off their forthcoming album, NIRATIAS, and it slays, twisting and turning to a propulsive breakdown. One-man djent juggernaut Chimp Spanner, a.k.a. Paul Ortiz, dropped his head-spinning first new song in nine years. Austin's Portrayal of Guilt cultivated a "Garden of Despair" from seeds of black metal, screamo, sludge and more. Aussie post-hardcore crew Raccoon City raged against exploitative corporations, corrupt politicians and other "national tragedies." Finally, electro-punk firebrand Alice Glass captivated with a strange, sorrowful ode — and an eerie stop-motion music video that evokes Tool's old-school clips.
