It doesn't get much heavier, both sonically and thematically, than Absent in Body, the far-beyond-devastating supergroup featuring Neurosis' Scott Kelly, OG Sepultura drummer Iggor Cavalera and Amenra vocalist Colin H. Van Eeckhout and guitarist Mathieu J. Vandekerckhove. The industrial-sludge conglomerate will drop their debut LP, Plague God — a concept album of sorts about humanity's inexorable self-destruction — on March 25th via Relapse Records, and today (March 9th) they've unveiled its suffocating third single, "Rise From Ruins," which is also the official theme song of All Elite Wrestling's House of Black group featuring AEW wrestlers Malakai Black, Brody King (God's Hate) and Buddy Matthews. Blast it above, and watch the House of Black's entrance to the cut last Sunday, March 6th, below.

Vandekerckhove commented of the single, "The blueprints of most AIB songs were made when I was on tour with Amenra. Because of the long journeys, I had a lot of free time on the bus. Different landscapes every day. The emptiness of the mountains, the desolate empty cities at night ...

"At one day, when recording the album, I had too much negative news and havoc on my socials shoved into my face. And the riff to this song was an instinctive reaction to that. I fought it off. This song is definitely a reflection of that moment, that day."
