In our new cover story, Revolver travels to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the blue-collar hometown of metalcore veterans August Burns Red, for a raw, unfiltered conversation with vocalist Jake Luhrs. He opens up about the personal trauma that led him not only to "scream for a living," but also to create a community — in the form of his nonprofit HeartSupport — for heavy-music fans and beyond. "I've gone through an insane, hectic upbringing when I was a kid," he tells us. "So the reason why I think I felt for my fans that were sharing [their stories] with me is because I have lived in some of their shoes."

The new Spring 2020 issue also comes with alternate collectible covers featuring Pantera, Lamb of God, Body Count and Code Orange (available now via our store), as well as stories on Kvelertak, Loathe, Dana Dentata, Umbra Vitae, Machine Girl, Irist and Mexican black metal.
