Between releasing (and re-releasing) their single for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, hitting the European festival circuit hard, and dissecting many old and new songs for their Breakdown Episode YouTube series, Avenged Sevenfold have stayed busy and relevant in 2018 despite being two years past their last full-length release, 2016's The Stage.
To cap off the year's end, the band have published personal lists of each member's favorite album and the picks range from fairly expected to way left field for the hard rock heavy hitters. While Ghost's Prequelle got nods from every member except drummer Brooks Wackerman and two of the guys dropped in A Perfect Circle's Eat The Elephant, their choices are all over the place. Hip-hop stalwarts like Kanye West and Eminem pop up alongside newcomer Post Malone, and even Grimes' new track gets an honorable mention from frontman M. Shadows.
