This week, former Kvelertak frontman Erlend Hjelvik came roaring back with the inaugural anthem from his Viking black-metal solo project, Regional Justice Center's Ian Shelton went Nineties noise-rock with Militarie Gun, and Nashville's Chamber continued their metallic hardcore assault on the senses. Wayfarer captivated with their soulful Americana metal, and Puscifer beguiled with their sociopolitically charged electro-rock. Eighteen Visions raged like it's the year 2000, Carcass brought classic death 'n' roll groove, while HEALTH offered a mournful paeon to our cyberpunk present.
