Black Dahlia Murder Play First Show Without Trevor Strnad: See Video and Setlist

Death-metal band formally introduced their new lineup with founding guitarist Brian Eschbach on vocals

Last month, the Black Dahlia Murder announced that they'd be moving forward without frontman Trevor Strnad, who tragically died earlier this year. The band tapped founding guitarist Brian Eschbach to become their new frontman, and his position as rhythm guitarist was filled by former shredder Ryan Knight, who previously left the band after a lead guitarist stint from 2009 to 2016.

Last night (October 28th), the Black Dahlia Murder played their first show with this new lineup, which doubled as a celebration of Strnad's life. Joined by Darkest Hour and Plague years at Saint Andrew's Hall in Detroit, the Michigan band played a 15-song setlist that consisted of fan-favorite material from all throughout their discography

Of course, fans had their phone cameras up ready to record this pivotal occasion in the band's history, and you can see footage of Black Dahlia Murder's performance above and  below, as well as the setlist courtesy of setlist.fm.
