Last week, Iron Maiden unveiled their epic new album Senjutsu, their 17th full-length overall and first since 2015's The Book of Souls. The record is one of the finer LP's the NWOBHM icons have released in recent memory, and today they're keeping the good times rolling with a thrilling music video for its second single, "Stratego."

Created by Swedish Director Gustaf Holtenas and executive-produced by Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, the visual consists of all sorts of epic samurai battles, dragon skulls being slashed and other bloody encounters.

In keeping with the Eastern theme of the record, the video's animation is influenced by Japanese-style anime, which lends itself to the colorful scenes of fantastical warfare. Check it out above via YouTube.
