Cardi B Praises My Chemical Romance: "They Don't Make Music Like This Anymore"

Cardi B has an emo side. The massively popular rapper, known for such morsels as "WAP" and "Bodak Yellow," isn't the first person you'd think of when you picture the fans who'll be waiting in line for My Chemical Romance's upcoming reunion tour. However, now we know that there's a chance she might be there, screaming the lines, "So long and good night," at the top of her lungs alongside all her fellow scene kids.

On March 15th, Cardi unexpectedly tweeted a snippet of the music video for My Chem's beloved 2004 rager, "I'm Not Okay." What's more, she captioned it with some extremely high praise: "They don't make music like this anymore."

Machine Gun Kelly might take offense to that statement, but we're not going to argue with Cardi on this one. MCR are unparalleled in the world they come from, and it's a joy to know that the artist who rapped the phrase, "Bring a bucket and a mop for this wet-ass pussy," also appreciates her third-wave emo.
