See Grohl, Homme-Endorsed Band the Chats' Zany New "Identity Theft" Video

Rising Aussie trio's singer gets sucked into computer in fun, retro-style clip

Back in 2016, a trio of Aussie teens calling themselves the Chats went viral with their single "Smoko" and its bonkers music video, which has since racked up more than 7 million views on YouTube. Dave Grohl, Iggy Pop and Josh Homme quickly became avowed fans, with Homme even taking the band out on the road with Queens of the Stone Age.

The self-described "shed rock" band are hardly resting on their laurels, however. Earlier this year, they dropped a new single "Pub Feed" and toured the U.S. for the first time ever, winning over followers the old fashion way with their raucous live shows. Now, the Chats are keeping the momentum going with yet another new song, "Identity Theft," which, true to form, comes paired with a wild and wacky music video. In the clip, Chats frontman Eamon Sandwith gets sucked into his computer and sees all his darkest secrets hacked from him. Watch it above.
