Earlier this month, Grey Daze — Chester Bennington's Phoenix, Arizona–based, pre–Linkin Park band — announced their second album, The Phoenix, which will finalize their pledge to the late singer to properly document the band's early recordings. To go along with the album's release on June 17th, Grey Daze have launched a new four-part documentary series called Grey Daze: Creation of the Phoenix, that begins with the band's origins in the Nineties and works its way up to the making of the new LP, which features re-mastered vocals from Bennington himself.

Today, the band have shared the first episode of the series, and it features tons of awesome footage of Bennington and his bandmates playing together in the old days, and then gets into the emotional experience of making The Phoenix — a follow-up to 2020's Amends, which also featured re-mastered takes of Bennington's long out-of-print vocals. The Phoenix is due out June 17th via Loma Vista and it's now available for pre-order in a variety of formats. One of those is a Revolver-exclusive vinyl variant on "blue smoke" colored wax that's limited to just 400 copies worldwide. Order yours now!
