Chester Bennington's First Band Grey Daze: See New "B12" Video Featuring Korn Guitarists

Munky and Head guest on latest 'Amends' single

By now you should know that Grey Daze was Chester Bennington's first proper band before he found fame with Linkin Park. On June 26th, the surviving members of group are set to release Amends, a long-in-the-making album of reworked songs featuring the singer's original vocals. Among those is "B12," a moody, grooving number not far-flung from the Deftones, and fittingly, its new, tweaked version features Deftones contemporaries James "Munky" Shaffer and Brian "Head" Welch, a.k.a. the guitarists of Korn. The two also appear in the song's music video, which premiered to open the first ever Download TV, a weekend-long virtual festival (June 12th-14th) from the creators of Download Festival. Watch and listen above.

"Everything we've done surrounding the upcoming release of Amends has been to honor Chester," Grey Daze co-founder and drummer Sean Dowdell commented. "The video for 'B12' is no exception. We wanted to celebrate all that has been accomplished in seeing Amends, a release he had wanted to bring to life, and in this video we not only brought his lyrics to life, we also were able to feel his presence as we performed alongside his vocal track." Head added of the song, "…the range, the power, the melody, and the flow ... it sounds like [Chester] in his prime."

Amends is available for pre-order now.
