Circle Jerks: See Tony Hawk Get "Wild in the Streets" in New Video

Hardcore punk luminaries unveil 40th anniversary reissue of beloved second album

Revolver has teamed with Circle Jerks for an exclusive "white with pink" colored vinyl variant of their Wild in the Streets deluxe reissue. It's limited to 1000 — order yours now!

In 1982, L.A. hardcore punk luminaries the Circle Jerks unveiled their sophomore album, Wild in the Streets, which somehow turns 40 this year. To celebrate, the band are reissuing the classic album with audio that's been fully remastered from the original tapes, and even tacking on three live cuts from a 1982 performance at San Francisco's Elite Club. The full reissue is available on all formats on February 18th via Trust Records, but today they've shared a brand new video for the album's title track that features a special cameo from the one and only Tony Hawk.

The Atiba Jefferson-directed visual cuts between footage from a crazy Circle Jerks performance in 1982 and new video of world-class skaters like Hawk, Lance Mountain, Christian Hosoi, Eric Koston and many others shredding up sidewalks in sunny California. Check it out above via YouTube while you blast the timeless CJ tune.

In addition to the remastered audio and live tracks, the vinyl version of the Wild in the Streets reissue comes with a 20-page booklet filled with photos, show fliers, new interviews with the band members and an 8,000-word essay by L.A. music writer Chris Morris. Revolver has an exclusive vinyl variant of the album on "white with pink" wax that's limited to 1,000 copies worldwide. Order yours while they last!
