If Coheed and Cambria's exhaustively complex universe of prog-metal music and sci-fi mythology wasn't enough to keep fans busy for an eternity, the band has just announced the news that, starting next year, those same fans will have the opportunity to climb aboard a cruise ship — the S.S. Neverender — and live inside Coheed's world for four days.

Departing on October 26th, 2020, the "immersive festival at sea" will feature special Coheed sets including rarely performed songs from throughout their 19-year career, as well as several installations that deeply examine The Amory Wars, the conceptual universe created by singer Claudio Sanchez that ties together his comic books and the band's records. Coheed will be bringing a pretty rad crew of support bands along for the journey, including Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, The Dear Hunter, Power Trip, Polyphia, Thank You Scientist, Sheer Mag, Culture Abuse, Touche, Fire Deuce, Weerd Science, 3, Radkey, Hail The Sun, and Peelander-Z.

Revolver will be on board, too, hosting a special bar for all the seafarers' drinking needs. Plus other late night activities will include "Emo Nite" and culinary fun with Chef Graham Elliot.

"We're always trying to find ways to improve the fan experience," explains lead guitarist and founding member Travis Stever. "Our fans like to travel, they like to meet other fans, we're like a big family.  So the idea of a cruise seemed like a way to allow a bunch of us to just go on vacation together."

Fans who purchased the group's most recent box set The Unheavenly Creatures will receive priority when it comes to purchasing tickets, and all are encouraged to take advantage of the cruise pre-sale for early access.
