It's a good day to be a Coheed and Cambria fan. The prog-rock adventurists have finally announced one of our most anticipated albums of 2022, their long-awaited new record, Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind, due for release on May 27th. On their 10th studio LP, the band led by Claudio Sanchez will continue evolving their lore by exploring the second installment of their five-part Vaxis series, which began on their 2018 opus, Vaxis Act 1: The Unheavenly Creatures

So far, fans have been treated to two killer singles, "Shoulders" and "Rise Naianasha (Cut the Cord)", that took their sound in a brighter, more bombastic direction, and both of which will appear on the 13-track album. It was produced by Sanchez himself alongside Zack Cervini (Bring Me the Horizon, Architects, Poppy) and pre-orders are available now. See the artwork and tracklisting below.
