Coheed and Cambria have revealed the title, release date, art work and track listing for their new album Vaxis – Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures, which arrives October 5th via new label home Roadrunner. It features the majestic lead single "The Dark Sentencer," which the band revealed late last month. As suspected, the 15-track, 78-minute follow-up to 2015's The Color Before The Sun finds Claudio Sanchez and Co. pivoting back to the Amory Wars, their original, career-long sci-fi saga, last explored on 2012's The Afterman.

As always, Coheed and Cambria will translate the music's story to print. The limited-edition deluxe box set edition of The Unheavenly Creatures includes an 80-plus-page hardcover graphic novel, as well as an Act 1 novella Sanchez co-wrote with his wife, Chondra  Echert. That package also includes a fold-out poster depicting an expanded version of the album art, a voucher to purchase tickets to the band's summer headlining tour and a replica mask worn by one of the album's main protagonists.

Below, find the artwork and track listing for Coheed and Cambria's The Unheavenly Creatures, as well as the band's upcoming tour dates.
