All Pigs Must Die's Kevin Baker gets in on the action, too, at Roadburn Festival

This year's Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands was curated by Converge frontman and Deathwish Inc. co-founder Jacob Bannon, who brought an array of cutting-edge musicians and visual artists together for the event. As for his band, they played a series of special performances, which included playing both their latest album, The Dusk in Us, and 2004's You Fail Me live in their entireties. The latter full-album set took place Friday, April 20th, and was capped off by an all-star encore featuring At the Gates' Tomas Lindberg and All Pigs Must Die's Kevin Baker, who joined Converge onstage for a burly take on Swedish death-metal stalwarts Entombed's classic crusher "Wolverine Blues."

Converge have a long history with the song. The Boston hardcore crew released an EP of "Wolverine Blues" covers in 2013, titled Pound for Pound, featuring five takes on the cut, each with a different vocalist, including Lindberg and Baker. The band has also performed the song live numerous times in the past, and was even joined by Entombed's own LG Petrov for an onstage run-through in 2012 — see fan footage of it below.
