While they have yet to share the news themselves, social media posts from friends and attendees confirm Slipknot/Stone Sour singer Corey Taylor and Cherry Bombs performance troupe leader Alicia Dove were married over the weekend, and celebrated their nuptials with friend and family at a dressed-down after party in Las Vegas. The bride was beautiful as always in a short black number, while Taylor was casual as can be with a "Jesse & the Rippers" Full House parody T-shirt and backwards ball cap for the low-key ceremony.
"Great big love to Corey and Alicia for sealing the deal!," Hellyeah bassist (and brother of Mastodon's Troy Sanders) Kyle Sanders wrote in a Facebook post. "Great times and grateful for being a part of your celebration of marriage. Plenty of good times to come." Other friends shared similar sentiments, as seen below.
Dove and Taylor got engaged this past spring after the singer surprised his now-wife in a sweetly intimate way. She explained on Twitter: "After breakfast at home, as I put the salsa back in the fridge I shut the door and he was standing there with a ring. Got down on one knee, and I immediately started crying on the floor with him. In our kitchen. In our sweats, nothing fancy. It was fucking perfect."
