Corey Taylor has a busy year ahead of him. The singer is gearing up to drop a new Slipknot record sometime in the next few months, but first, he's unveiling a new project under his own name. Following his 2020 solo debut, CMFT, Taylor has now announced CMFB...Sides, a nine-song EP consisting of covers, unreleased b-sides, acoustic renditions and live versions of previously-released songs. It's out February 25th via Roadrunner Records, and today he's previewing it with an unexpected cover of "On the Dark Side," a song by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band that most people know from the 1983 flick Eddie and the Cruisers. In addition to this cover, the rest of CMFB...Sides includes covers of Metallica's "Holier Than Thou," Kiss' "Got to Choose," Dead Boys' "All This and More," Red Rider's "Lunatic Fringe" and Eddie Money's "Shakin'," as well as a couple acoustic tracks and a live version of "Home/Zzyxz Rd."
