Dark-Wave Pioneers DAF to Perform First-Ever U.S. Show at Cloak & Dagger Event

Last year marked the first-ever Cloak & Dagger festival, a two-day noise extravaganza held in Los Angeles. On the heels of last year's successful opening bash, headlined by the Jesus and Mary Chain's William and Jim Reid, the event returns this November as a single-day outing at Los Angeles' State Theater — a historic, nearly 100-year-old movie theater that hasn't hosted a concert in over twenty years.

Headlining this year's Cloak & Dagger are the "godfathers of techno" Gabriel "Gabi" Delgado-López and Robert Görl — a.k.a. DAF (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) — making their first-ever appearance. The rest of the bill is similarly impressive, with appearances by She Wants Revenge (whose producer, Adam Bravin, co-founded the festival), The Faint, HEALTH, Black Mare, Boy Harsher, Tamaryn, and BOAN.
