Last year, country superstar Dolly Parton was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and at the induction ceremony, she sang "Jolene" with none other than Judas Priest's Rob Halford. Now, she's rolling out an album that includes the Metal God in its star-studded tracklist.
Aptly titled Rockstar, the whopping 30-song(!) album is being billed as Parton's first tried-and-true rock record; a mix of covers and originals that features at least one guest musician on almost every track.
There's Halford, Mötley Crüe drummer Nikki Sixx and John 5 on a song called "Bygones." Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr unite on a cover of the Beatles' "Let It Be," which also features Peter Frampton and Fleetwood Mac's Mick Fleetwood.
Elsewhere, there's a cover of "Free Bird" featuring members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, a cover of Sting's "Every Breath You Take" with Sting, a rendition of Queen's "We Are the Champions" and even Lizzo popping up for a take on "Stairway to Heaven"!
