On June 19th, Down hit Hellfest in Clisson, France, and, of course, they buried the multi-day heavy-metal extravaganza in fucking smoke. Scheduled for just a handful of shows this year, the NOLA sludge supergroup — a.k.a. Pantera's Philip Anselmo, Corrosion of Conformity's Pepper Keenan, Crowbar's Kirk Windstein and Eyehategod's Jimmy Bower, plus bassist Pat Bruders — played a badass 11-song set packed with fan favorites (see their full set list below).
