For Fans of Deftones, Dillinger: Hear Thoughtcrimes' New Song "New Infinities"

Band helmed by former Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Billy Rymer

Revolver has teamed with thoughtcrimes for an exclusive vinyl colorway of their debut LP, Altered Pasts. Only 150 made — order yours before they're gone!

Featuring former Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Billy Rymer, thoughtcrimes specialize in a teeth-rattling, brain-scrambling brand of mathcore not far-flung from the number-crunching insanity of Rymer's previous band. But the group's latest single, "New Infinities," off their upcoming debut full-length, Altered Pasts, showcases a mellower, moodier side to their sound, leaning into the more atmospheric trajectories of Deftones or Dillinger. "Our good friend Earl Maneein of Seven Suns is an absolute musical genius," Rymer commented. "This track was a complete accident as he came down to the studio to work on some of his arrangements with me on drums. We had every intention of doing so until we started jamming and wrote this song's foundation almost entirely in one take. Rick heard the demo and urged for us to put it on the record. With Earl's blessing, we made that happen. He and Jennifer DeVore performed all of the string arrangements for this and 'Keyhole Romance.' Hats off to our producer Mike Watts for nailing the mix on the first pass."

Altered Pasts is due out on August 26th via Pure Noise Records and available for pre-order on limited-edition colored vinyl at Revolver's shop.
