Post Malone has never been shy about his affinity for heavy music. The pop-rap superstar — who looks of an Eighties hair metal icon with the face tats of today — has been known to burst into Pantera's "Walk" at Karaoke; he's played an entire Nirvana cover set with Travis Barker; and best of all, he's collaborated with Ozzy Osbourne on numerous occasions over the last couple years.

The dude loves rock and metal as much as anything else, and now he's using the lineup for his annual Posty Fest to reflect his eclectic taste. The third iteration of his annual festival in Arlington, Texas, features high-profile rappers like Lil Uzi Vert, Megan Thee Stallion, Polo G, Jack Harlow and others. You know, the type of artists who you'd hear on the same radio stations and streaming playlists that feature Post Malone songs.

However, the two-day festival also includes appearances by Arizona death metal crushers Gatecreeper, hardcore world-conquerors Turnstile and the New Orleans rap-metal duo $uicideboy$. In other words, artists who you would not typically associate with the polished, commercially-friendly pop-rap that Post Malone makes.

Other oddball guests on the lineup include outlaw country singer-songwriter Koe Wetzel, TikTok-famous indie-R&B group Peach Tree Rascals and Atlanta rap-rock fusionist — and current Revolver Uprising star — Kenny Mason.

It's one of the most creative and refreshingly unconventional festival lineups we've seen all year, and it goes down October 30th and 31st. Check out the full roster below and snag tickets here
