Ghost, Deafheaven, Bring Me the Horizon, More Nominated for 2019 Grammys

Fever 333, Greta Van Fleet, High on Fire also up for awards

The 61st annual Grammy Awards will be held Sunday February 10 at Los Angeles' Staples Center. Today, the Recording Academy announced the 2019 nominees. Among the heavier artists recognized, Deafheaven, High on Fire, Bring Me the Horizon, Fever 333, Greta Van Fleet, Underoath, Between the Buried and Me, Ghost, Halestorm and more are all up for awards this year. Late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has also been nominated posthumously for "Best Rock Performance" for his solo track "When Bad Does Good." Prog/sludge veterans Mastodon took home the gold for Best Metal Performance last year for "Sultan's Curse."
