Tonight (March 2nd), Glassjaw were finally slated to begin their long-awaited tour celebrating 20-plus years of their seminal albums, Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence and Worship and Tribute. The 18-date run was set to begin with a two-night residency in Los Angeles, but unfortunately the band have now announced that the first several stops of the tour are being postponed "due to hospitalization."

In a brief and somewhat alarming post on their social media pages, the Long Island post-hardcore vets shared that "due to hospitalization, Glassjaw will be unable to perform the following shows." The dates listed include tonight and tomorrow's stops in L.A., their San Francisco gigs on March 4th and 5th, their March 6th stop in Pomona, California, and their March 8th show in Denver.

The rest of the statement reads as follows:

"Glassjaw will resume its tour on 3/10 in San Antonio and will reschedule the above affected dates for October 2022. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new show dates as follows:

10/24 LA
10/25 LA
10/27 denver
10/30 pomona
11/1 SF
11/2 SF

our deepest apologies for any inconvenience."

It's unclear who is currently being treated in a hospital — whether it's a member of the band, crew, etc. — but we're sending our warmest wishes to the Glassjaw camp and hoping for a speedy recovery.

For fans who ordered Glassjaw's limited edition vinyl reissues of EYEWTKAS and Worship and Tribute, these concerts were supposed to serve as the pick-up point for people to collect their records. Thankfully, arrangements have been made so fans can receive their orders in-person despite the shows themselves being postponed. Head to the below locations between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. for L.A. and Pomona and 5:30 to 8:30pm for San Francisco and Denver to receive your orders of the tri-colored 3LPs.
