Goats, Wine, Mosh Pits: See Jinjer Explore South Africa in New Tour Mini-Doc

Join Ukranian outfit's adventures as they finish recording next album

Ukranian metal sensation Jinjer spent last month, May 2019, in South Africa touring with Sümer, Deity's Muse, Ohgod, Zombies Ate My Girlfriend, and Bleeding Spawn; now a newly released mini-documentary filmed by videographer named Chris Preyser shares some of the behind-the-scenes happenings that went down when the band wasn't tearing it up the stage every night.

Incorporating footage from all the bands' performances, the gorgeously shot video focuses on Jinjer's headlining performance for a thrilled crowd before showing members indulging in some local chocolate and beer, then moving on for a bit of sightseeing that includes meeting some goats on the way to the gig.

Moving on into the evening, the crew stop for a bit of wine and cheese, hamming it up for the camera before heading into the venue to prepare for another packed show. Lines of fans stretch out the door, and those up front are seen headbanging against the barrier for the six-band lineup. A triumphant final shot shows Jinjer at the front of the stage, reveling in the celebration and taking a photo with the crowd after they finish.

With that tour wrapped, the band has been hard at work finishing recording for its next album. "Congrats to @tetiana_shmailiuk who just finished recording vocals for the last song from the upcoming album and nailed it down," they announced via the band's official Instagram yesterday, June 12th. "And now when the tracks took their final form we just cannot hide our excitement."
