Guns N' Roses, Green Day, Henry Rollins-Approved Band Max Creeps: Hear New Song "Burn It Down"

Mysterious cult band reunite after reported two-day breakup

Revolver has teamed with Max Creeps for an exclusive colored vinyl variant of their new album, Nein, limited to 300 copies worldwide. Order yours here!

Earlier this week, Max Creeps reportedly broke up. The mysterious cult band was heralded by figures across the rock spectrum — Slash, Green Day, Henry Rollins, Lamb of God's Randy Blythe, and many others — as one of punk's foundational bands, and their presence was to be sorely missed. While fans across the internet largely responded with a collective "Huh?," having been unaware of the band due to the suspicious lack of information about them on the internet, Max Creeps have now reunited and announced a new album called Nein, due out May 13th via Velocity Records. To celebrate, the duo — who go by PC Bullshit and Max Blastic — have shared a single from the record called "Burn it Down."

It's a riotous punk song that hoists the genre's age-old incendiary ethos above rattling guitars and smashing drums, replete with a freaky video of a couple of middle-aged weirdos wandering around a cityscape like zooted street preachers. Watch and listen above via YouTube.

"I feel we've made the record we meant to have made back in the day," Blastic said of the nine-song Nein. "If the topics seem familiar, well, WE WROTE THEM FIRST. I don't actually REMEMBER what the songs are about but I KNOW we were the first and the best. We were and are ALWAYS the first and best."

Nein is now available for pre-order in a variety of formats, including a Revolver-exclusive clear-colored vinyl variant that's limited to just 300 copies worldwide. Get yours here before they're gone and check out the cover art and track listing below.
