American Nightmare, 2019

It's been two decades since singer and lyricist Wesley Eisold (also of Cold Cave) booked the first American Nightmare show in Portland, Maine way back in the year 2000, and the two EPs that followed were soon combined into one successful and critically lauded LP, 2001's Year One.

To celebrate that milestone, the incendiary and boundary-pushing Boston group will tour for a solid month in February-March 2020 and re-release the seminal Year One with extra, as-yet-unannounced added tracks on Heartworm Press and Bridge Nine Records this winter. The band's last album was their self-titled effort released in 2018, their first since 2003's We're Down 'Til We're Underground

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday, October 11th at 9 a.m. PST / 12 p.m. EST. A promoter pre-sale kicks off tomorrow, October 9th at 10:00 a.m. local, using the password AMERICANNIGHTMARE20. Go here for ticket purchasing information, and see below for a full list of tour dates.
