Hear Acacia Strain's Piledriving New Song "Untended Graves"

"I don't want to die!"

"Revolver had us on their list of 'most anticipated albums of 2022' so we recorded one song," the Acacia Strain's vocalist, Vincent Bennett, wrote on Instagram, introducing his band's new single, "Untended Grave." Thanks a lot, guys, for making us look like idiots, but we appreciate the effort nonetheless.

"Untended Graves" is a nasty crusher of the highest order, packed with ten-ton riffage and punctuated by Bennett's chilling roar: "I don't want to die!" It's the first taste of new music from the New England-based band since 2020's Slow Decay, and it bodes well of a new album in 2023(?). C'mon dudes, you can do it.

"'Untended Graves' is a good example of our current collective writing, with some added perspective that was injected into the band recently, as well," the Acacia Strain commented in a joint statement. "It will be a fun one to play live next spring. However, as usual with us, it's no indication of what's to come."

The band is set to hit the road starting in March next year, joined by Fit For an Autopsy, Full of Hell and Primitive Man. See the full itinerary below.
