Hear BEARTOOTH's unexpectedly happy new song "Sunshine!"

"A Beartooth song doesn't always have to be miserable"

Need a little sunshine in your life? Beartooth are here to lend a helping hand. Caleb Shomo's metalcore band have dropped a new track that features a fascinating back-and-forth blend of energetic metal and anthemic acoustic rock that doesn't really sound like anything they've ever released.

"Sunshine!" is another non-album single from Beartooth, bursting with good vibes just in time for spring. The track deals with seasonal depression, dousing listeners with hard-hitting and relatable lyrics like, "I think I need some/Sunshine that would finally show/I might die if I stay in this cold."

"'Sunshine!' is about a lot of things, the most obvious being seasonal depression," Shomo shared. "It's always been prevalent in my life but as I grow older, it gets more intense. This song is also about moving on from the dark place I was in during 2020-2021. At the end of the day, life should be enjoyed and a Beartooth song doesn't always have to be miserable."
