Hear Big Business Cast "A Musical Curse" With Burly New Song "Heal the Weak"

Single is "a clarion call of warning to the crust-fisted oppressor," says vocalist Jared Warren

Like Wayne and Garth, Bill and Ted, Tango and Cash before them, Big Business are meant to be a duo. The twosome of bassist-vocalist Jared Warren and drummer-vocalist Coady Willis have at various times played within greater foursomes — in a quartet lineup of Big Biz that lasted some five years, and alongside King Buzzo and Dale Crover in a pretty awesome double-afro'd and double-drummer'd incarnation of the Melvins — but they feel best as just the power duo. Big Business reverted back to the two-piece configuration for their last album, 2016's Command Your Weather, and have continued as such for their latest, The Beast You Are, due on April 12th via Joyful Noise and available for pre-order now. It's yet another slab of sludgy, gnarly, punky, riffy heavy rawk as exemplified by new single "Heal the Weak," which makes its premiere here.

"'Heal the Weak' is a musical curse on those who seek to take advantage of people of lesser means," Warren says. "A clarion call of warning to the crust-fisted oppressor." Check it out above, and see Big Business' very full slate of upcoming tour dates below.
