Hear Bullet for My Valentine's Decimating New Song "Parasite"

U.K. band have never sounded heavier on raging single

Last month, Bullet for My Valentine returned with a song called "Knives" that was quite possibly the heaviest track they'd ever released. However, that's no longer the case — their newest single, "Parasite," is even heavier.

The U.K. band are gearing up to release their self-titled seventh record later this fall, and as guitarist Michael "Padge" Paget commented when "Knives" dropped, it's slated to be "the most ferocious" album in the band's chameleonic catalog, which has traversed trad-metal, thrash, metalcore and nu-metal.

Like the other song we've heard from the record, "Parasite" is a return to the band's early roots as a 'core act, except the intensity has been kicked up several notches. There are a few patches of anthemic clean vocals on this song, but the vast majority of the track features frontman Matt Tuck screaming his fucking head off over thrashy metalcore riffs that legitimately verge on the nastiness of death metal at certain points.

Blast the track above while you watch its creepy-crawly music video via YouTube.

Bullet for My Valentine is due out October 22nd via Spinefarm/Search & Destroy.
